Our History
Two years after immigrating from Hungary, Charles Katona founded the company which has continued to flourish under his son, Johnny Katona.
From our early years with projects in the developing areas of Gastown and English Bay, Seagull Electric has grown to take on a wide range of projects including large mixed-use residential buildings, high rises, tilt-up warehouses and high voltage installations.
Seagull Electric was built on a dream, perseverance and determination.
Flash forward to today:
Today, our operations are proudly based in North Vancouver and extend throughout the Squamish Community, located on the traditional and unceded territories of the SṾnṾnis, Skwxwú7mesh Únxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
